About us
Nomad Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy based in Worksop. We’re a local, independent martial arts school passionate about bringing the benefits of BJJ to people of all ages and fitness levels.
Our Story
Nomad Jiu Jitsu is the evolution of several successful martial arts academies across Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire, including Infinity Martial Arts, 53 Degrees and Clinch & Control. Led by 2nd degree Black Belt James Boyle, our team has years of experience developing martial artists across a range of disciplines, including MMA, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.In recent years, our focus has been on developing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Worksop. Our students have had much success in competitions, while many others train simply to improve fitness, learn self-defence and enjoy the community we’ve built.
